Discover Gisborne with NZ Shore Excursions

Gisborne is located on New Zealand’s East Coast; it’s the first place in the world to see the sun every day and is famous for its sunny climate, awesome surf beaches and beautiful walks.

Captain Cook made his first landfall in Gisborne and it’s the place where the first Polynesian migration canoes landed – making the town historically significant.

Gisborne is recognised as the ‘chardonnay capital’ of New Zealand and is home to the Te Urewera National Park and New Zealand’s largest untouched native forest – a great place to take a bush walk and see some of the country’s native forestry and wildlife.

New Zealand Shore Excursions have no tours available yet for the Gisborne port this year. However we are working on bringing some exciting new tours to this developing cruise destination.
